Anishchenko O. Research, estimation and forecasting of level of environmental contamination in the area of the stores of radioactive waste products

Object of research: natural territorial complexes in the area influenced by the storages of radioactive waste products of the uranium-mining and the uranium-concentrating. The purpose of research: estimation end forecasting of level of environmental contamination for elaboration of a local system of geoecological monitoring of environment in the area influenced by the storages of radioactive waste products. Methods: field; chemical-analytical; comparative - geographic; cartographical; statistical-mathematical. Results and novelty: the regularities are established and estimation of distribution of heavy metals and radionuclids in soils, underground waters, agricultural and growing wild plants in the area influenced by the stores of radioactive waste products. The mathematical model of pollution of underground waters nearby tail depositories of radioactive waste products is developed. It allows to determine and to predict some priority mechanisms and directions of distribution of pollution. The main principles of the organization of a local system of complex geoecological monitoring of environment in the area influenced by tail depositories of radioactive waste products of the uranium-mining and the uranium-concentrating. Sphere of usage: geography, nature protection policies.
