Karlov S. Clinical peculiarities of myocardial infarction course at the patients of various age groups.

Object of the study: patients with acute myocardial infarction. Purpose of the study: Increase of efficiency of therapy for the patients with acute myocardial infarction on the base of the studied age peculiarities in the clinical course and factors influencing on the close and long-term prognoses. Methods of research: general clinical, immune and enzyme techniques, spectrophotometric, instrumental modalities – US, ECG, 24 hour ECG and BP monitoring. Theoretical and practical results: Clinical specificity of myocardial infarction course at the patients of various age groups have been revealed, markers for close and long-term negative prognoses have been determined – post-infarction myocardial ischemia, cardiac rhythm low variability, blood pressure high variability and its 24 hour profile disorders, the advantages of nebivolol usage compared to metoprolol at the patients with acute myocardial infarction have been demonstrated. Novelty: For the first time the factors for unfavourable close and long-termprognoses at the patients with acute myocardial infarction with 24 hour ECG and BP monitoring have been identified. The purposefulness of nebivolol usage at acute period of myocardial infarction has been show compared to its revealed advantages against to metoprolol. Degree of introduction: Main findings of the research were introduced to the clinical practice of infarction departments of City Clinical Hospital #8 (Kharkiv), City Clinical Hospital for Urgent medical Aid, Institute of Therapy of Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (Kharkiv), which is confirmed by Acts of Introduction.
