Kluchevych M. Agroecological basis of the system of wheat protection against septoriosis in Ukrainian Polissya and Northern Forest-steppe

Test objects: agents of septoriosis of wheat, weeds and cultivated grasses from the family of cereal grasses and measures aimed at their protection in Ukraine's Polissya and Northern Forest-steppe areas. Aim of investigation: study of wheat septoriosis development, species composition of its agents depending on environmental factors of Ukraine's Polissya and Northern Forest-steppe areas and improvement of the traditional system of plant protection against the disease. The methods used are those of route investigation, field, laboratory, statistical and calculation. The scientific novelty of the principles and conclusions lies in the substantiation and solution of the complex of problems connected with the improvement of measures to protect wheat against septoriosis: study of spread, harmfulness, species composition and identification of septoriosis agents for Polissya and Northern Forest - steppe areas; determination of wheat varieties, which are relatively resistant against the disease and the effective system of organic and mineral fertilization; improvement of the traditional wheat protection system.
