Essay

The complex historical-legal research of origin, development and establishment of institute of constitutional control in Czechoslovakia, Czech Republic and Slovak Republic (1918-2000), as a basic acting institute of legal defence of constitution has been conducted. Namely, the author has made the theoretical-methodological analysis of the category "legal defence of constitution"; has defined and analysed basic models of constitutional jurisdiction of the countries under research; has considered the newest problems connected with the peculiarities of establishment and development of institute of constitutional justice of Czechoslovakia, Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.
