This dissertation is devoted to investigation of quantal properties of synaptic GABA release using local stimulation of presynaptic terminal in rat cortex neurones. These data demonstrates that mathematical model of neuromediator release is quite consistent with experimental data obtained for multyquantal release from inhibitory synaptic terminal of rat cortex neurones.
