Shtilvaser L. The ways desgned to elevate the efficacy of early metaphylaxis with the aim to lower the incidence of recurrent lithogenesis inpatients with nephrolithiasis.

The dissertation is devoted to the problems designed to elevate the efficacy treatment of nephrolithiasis, to lower the incidence of recurrence through enhancement of early metaphylaxis with of the preparations Canefron N, Litovit Y and citrate mixture Blemaren. The dissertation presens the results of treatment of 291 patients with nephrolithiasis. The first group (256 pts) received complex metaphylaxis based on the preparations Canefron N, Litovit Y and citrate mixture Blemaren during the pre- and early postoperative period. The second group (35 pts) did not receive the above preparations and citrate mixture: here metaphylaxis consisted of common dietetic and phytotherapy. This work proves the expediency and high efficiency caused by enhancement of complex metaphylaxis with the preparations Canefron N in urate- oxalate nephrolithiasis and urate hypercrystalluria, and citrate mixture Blemaren in urate- oxalate and oxalate nephrolithiasis, and with Litovit Y in phosphate and oxalate nephrolithiasis being accompanied by chronic pyelonephritis. Basing on the resulting data after examination of patients during the preoperative, early postoperative and long-term periods after 3, 6 and 12 months, the need in the enhanced early metaphylaxis in patients with this pathology has been proved.
