The thesis is devoted to the youth-pupils' aesthetical tastes forming process in its historical development and contemporaneity. The main stages and theoretical grasps of the aesthetical tastes contradictional character in pedagogical, psychological and philosophic sciences were analysed.The theoretical and methodological essence, key-aspects, principle matters and main pedagogical approaches of the youth pupils' aesthetical tastes forming activity in contemporary social and cultural conditions were examined. The general tasks, purposes and tendencies in the attitude to the process of pupils' aesthetical tastes forming in the modern Ukrainian education system were determined.
