Thesis is devoted to substantiate the using of coliphages (somatic or F-specific) as enteroviral model for evaluating technology and new reagents in water treatment and to develop the most adequate method for coliphage determination in water objects. Isolation frequency in water supply objects (Dnipro, Desna) of somatic and F-specific coliphages and survival terms of coliphages in different types of water have been studied.
