Essay

The experimental research of abilities and expediency of the use of cyanoacrylate glue (n)bytil-2-cyanoacrylate in combination with autotissues in operation on the abdominal cavity organs, particularly on the hepatobiliary zone, serves the basis for the following dissertation. The research consists of experiments with two parts. The first part of the research includes a series of operations on 48 white outbred rats. The morphological changes in different transplants and tissues of the hepatobiliary zone under the action of cyanoacrylate glue receives the study. The second part of the research includes two series of experiments. The aim of this part of the investigation is to create an operational situation model which is connected with the damaged integrity of the bile duct wall; the defect is closed by the developed plastic-adhesive methods. In the first series of the experiment, 24 outbred rabbits are operated on. In the second series of the experiment 8 outbred pigs are operated on. The clinical part of the dissertation contains the data on the peculiarities of surgical treatment of 77 patients within the main group. These patients' bile ducts are operated on with the application of the developed plastic-adhesive methods of prophylaxis of sutures incompetency. This surgical approach promotes absolute absence of complications in the patients within the main group in comparison to 9,7 % of the 82 patients in the control group.
