Essay

The thesis is devoted to study of human embryonic tissue cytosolic fraction influence on the prooxidant-antioxidant and functional state of rat liver during its hypothermic storage and following normothermic reperfusion. In support of the availability of animal pretreatment with embryonic tissue cytosol for improvement of organ integrity degree an acute tetrachlormethane intoxication model was used. It was shown that embryonic tissue cytosol or its thermostable fraction injection for 4 or 24 h prior to intoxication completely prevented animal death, also led to decrease of organ damage degree and prooxidant-antioxidant balance normalization studied by biochemical indices of serum and liver homogenates. The introduction of embryonic tissue cytosol for 4 h prior to organ isolation decreased liver injury after 24 h of hypothermic storage, also led to depression of peroxidative processes and antioxidant enzyme activity restoration that accompanied by short-term increase of ATP content and glycolysis stimulation.
