Zhukovsky V. Diagnostic and prognostic meaning of abdominal cavity contents in abdominal trauma

The work is devoted to the problems of optimization surgical treatment of various damages of abdomen on the basis of assessment the efficacy and possibilities of complex clinical and instrumental examination of patients, laboratorial, bacteriological investigation of abdominal cavity contents and individual peculiarities of abdominal damage clinical course. The author carried out the complex of investigations and revealed the intercommunication of the most informative clinico – diagnostic indices of laboratorial, biochemical, bacteriological study of laparocentesis results, DPL, laparoscopy, USD, X-ray examination of the patients depending on the character of damage, severity of trauma taking into consideration its duration and the availability of complications. Was the first to have studied the character of abdominal cavity microflora depending on the character of trauma, its duration, and worked out the scheme of prevention and treatment of purulent-septive complications. The author has also studiedthe possibilities and indications to blood reinfusion in abdominal trauma depending on the severity of trauma, the degree of blood loss, infecting of abdominal cavity, and the time of getting trauma.
