Sereda I. Specific Features of Intensive Therapy of Severe Form of Alcohol Abstinence Syndrome. -

Research culminates in intensive therapy of severe form of alcohol abstinence syndrome aggravated by pathology followed. The data of medical treatment of 119 patients suffering severe form of AAS were analyzed. Influence of accompanying pathology on severity and prolongation of psychosis was determined. The interconnection between the severity of AAS and introductory electrolysis disturbance was analyzed. Data achieved were concluded into optima; scheme of intensive therapy depending on acute form of an alcohol abstinence syndrome and accompanying pathology. The scheme of clonidin usage was improved. The employment of plasmapharesis in a case of acute form of endemic intoxication gives positive effect that results in involution psycho-productive symptoms. The employment of intensive composite therapy gives the opportunity to reduce the term of alcohol abstinence syndrome from 3,7±0,06 to 2,6±0,08 days (alfa< 0,05).
