Essay

The object of the is research is the physiological process which takes place in asparagus plants depending on the technology of growing, fertilization, variety or hybrid. The aim of the research was to improve the technology of asparagus growing and to study the productivity of some introduced varieties and hybrids for the increase of its yielding capacity under the conditions of the Right Bank Forest Steppe zone of Ukraine. Methods of the research: field, laboratory, statistical. The scientific novelty consists in establishing the regularities of growth and development of asparagus plants; substantiating the efficiency of various growing the methods of clonal micropropagation; establishing the optimum planting schemes in accordance, with the technology of growing and the amount of fertilizers in perennial plantations; choosing the high-yielding varieties and hybrids. The main results of the research are introduced into production. Field of application: vegetablegrowing.
