Appropriateness of interactions of powered support's sections with seam roof's rocks under mining extraction in different coal-geological conditions is investigated. It is determined that rock roof displacement accelerates and this parameter's values must be used for definition of expedience of face's sections. There it is expediently to apply powered support's sections with different power parameters. Scientific and technical substantiation of module principle of powered supports' construction in the breakage face is given. The support's sections are projected for special coal-geological conditions and have different power parameters. This improves their interaction with rocks of the roof on the whole length of the face, increases the safety of work, reduces the labor-intensity due to refusal from usage of individual means of supporting and controlling the roof in niches. The estimated annual economic result from usage of module principle of powered support's construction will make 18 500 grivnas perone breakage face.
