Essay

The result of four-year investigation on peculiarities of yield formation and white cabbage seed quality within a non-transplanting way of growing have been given. Possibilities of sprout and direct (without sprout) cultures have been disclosed. To obtain sprout and direct (without sprout) cultures successful wintering stage changings finishing, tweaks and pods friendly formation and to obtain seeds yielding at 10,5-11,2 c/ga in the South of Ukraine it is propriate to use sprout plants and terms of sowing are July 10-15. In case of direct (without sprout) cultures using, the terms of sowing are July 25-30. Concentrated schemes of plant placing: sprout plants 70x25 sm, direct plants - 70x15 sm. To strengthen winter-hardly direct plants it is crucial to cover them with the soil.
