Yesipchuk T. The development of flax subcomplex of Ukraine.

Subject of research: agricultural enterprises producing fiber flax, primary processing enterprises and textile factories which are major components of the flax industry subsector of Ukraine. Research objective: elaboration and substantiation of development directions and increasing of effectiveness of flax-fiber industry in Ukraine, improvement of organizational and economic relationships between the interdependent adjacent industries, and tools for their state regulation. Methods: dialectical method, system approach, analogy and comparison methods, monographic method, logical and historical approach, methods of statistical and economic analysis, calculative-constructive and balance methods. Theoretical and practical results: the scientific statements formulated in the research are the foundations for solving of theoretical and practical problems of further development of fiber-flax industry of Ukraine on the basis if economic effectiveness growth. Scientific novelty: The essence of definition "flax-fiber industry of Ukraine" was specified, domestic and international experience of integration and cooperation in the industry was consolidated, possible ways to utilize it in practice were identified,; the optimal planting areas for flax production were substantiated, international trade with flax products development directions were suggested, the program of development of flax-fiber industry was elaborated; the development directions for integrating processes in the industry we identified; propositions as regards the improvement of economic relationships between agricultural producers and primarily-processing enterprises were substantiated; ways to improve state regulation in the fiber-flax industry in Ukraine were elaborated. Implementation degree: Practical application was found for propositions as regards increasing of production concentration of fiber-flax, formation of integrated units within the industry, elaboration of economic mechanisms of relationships between flax growers and fiber-flax processingfactories. Effectiveness: implementation of the research results will facilitate production growths and increase effectiveness of flax products manufacturing in Ukraine, encourage the saturation of domestic market with high-quality linen textiles.
