Slovs'ka I. Ukrainian constitutionalism: the stages of formation and development.

In the dissertation the authors conception of formation and development of Ukrainian constitutionalism is formulated. The concept of constitutionalism, general principles and system of Ukrainian constitutionalism are researched. The basic stages of Ukrainian constitutionalism formation are exposed. The preparation and adoption of constitutions, constitutional acts or its projects are taken in the ground of its classification. The adoption of the first Ukrainian Constitution (1710) was the starting-moment of the periodicities of Ukrainian constitutionalism development. The basic tendency of modern Ukrainian constitutionalism development: constitutional and legal status of human and citizen, state powers organization, nature of the Constitutional Court, problems of realization of the Constitution of Ukraine are analyzed.
