Bitska I. Surgical Treatment of Postoperative Ventral Hernia Combined with Commissural Intestinal Obstruction

It was carried out complex clinical, laboratory and instrumental examination and surgical treatment of 132 patients suffering from postoperative ventral hernia combined with commissural intestinal obstruction acute, commissural intestinal obstruction was observed in 82 patients, and, on admission, acute intestinal obstruction was not observed in 50 patients. Prognostic criteria of acute liver failure development have been distinguished, and methods of its prevention and treatment have been proposed. The factical methods of recurrence hernia prevention has been worked out. In recurrence of large postoperative ventral hernia has been proposed the methods of defectoplasty of front abdominal wall aponeurosis which is proted by the declarative patent.The modifications of Meyjo, Sapezhko, Vasylyuk operations have been proposed. The using of proposed surgical policy and treatment methods permitled to achieve positive results in 97,5 % patients in the later terms.
