Problems of mastering of text information of students of high pedagogical schools view at the dissertation. The processes of learning include next steps: perception of material, understanding, remembering, preservation and actualization - reproduction and utilization for action. All of there steps are linking. The main factor of efficient learning and central stage of mastering is understanding of information. The main base of processing text information is skill of cognitive reading, skills of dialogical cooperation with a text, using psychological knowledge's and theory of text. Skills of cognitive reading include using of actions of structurating and restructurating, semantically weighting and delimitation information, compression and decompression information.
