Pasichnik O. Genesis of the architectural school of Lviv Politechnics and the contributio of its graduates into the development of architecture.

The dissertation is dedicated to the illumination of genesis and intercourses of the architectural school of Lviv Politechnics and determination of the contribution of its graduates of 1854-1979 into the development of architecture. The matter of the notion the "architectural school" and tne preconditions of appearing of the architectural school of Lviv Politechnics, as well as, the characteristic of the main stages of the development of this school in the system of the higher technical education are determined on the basis of the application of traditional and specially worked out by the author methods through the analysis of the history of formation of its chairs, their teaching - methodological, scientific - research and project activities. There also are illuminated international, inner links of this school and the contribution of its graduates of 1854-1979 into the development of the architecture of Lviv and the western region of Ukraine.
