The thesis is devoted to the issues of admissibility of evidence obtained as a result of international legal assistance in criminal matters. Legal nature of the institute of international legal assistance in criminal matters has been investigated as a totality. Proceeding from this, criteria of admissibility of the obtained evidence have been proposed. Ways of rendering international legal assistance in criminal matters have been researched into, proposals aiming to improve its legal mechanism have been formulated.
