Cademia M. Network communications used in technical colleges for professional competence formation

The thesis deals with potentialities of new modern educational technologies, which are based on transmitting, information with the help of computers and multimedia in the process of training prospective specialists. It proves the necessity of and gives theoretical grounds for introducing the system of computer technologies and network communications into professional training of qualified employees. Methods of professional competence formation by means of network communications are improved. The thesis enriches the educational process with innovative methods of professional competence formation via network communications, with sample training programmes for students, teachers and masters of industrial training, with methodical recommendations for teachers how to organize industrial training and to use modern computer technologies. The problem of compiling and using an electronic training manual is considered.
