The Thesis is devoted to a problem and genre - stylistic analysis of Russian and French memoir prose of 1812 which allows to define a question of inter-genre type of memoiristics and investigate the peculiarities of the Napoleon epoch man's behaviour orientation through the prism of moral-psychological and social-ethical collisions of memoir works. The Thesis points out that those were the memoirs which became the field of interaction of different style traditions.
