Object of research. Conditions and management factors of perfection of work of work collectives of railway transport of Ukraine in the process of transformation of its economy. Purpose of research. Development of methodological base and basing of practical recommendations in perfection of stimulation of work of enterprises' collectives in conditions of transitional economy of Ukraine taking into account specificity of railway transport. Methods of research and equipment. Economical-mathematical method, methods of logical and factor analysis, groupings, dynamic lines, expert evaluations, factor and correlation-regression analysis, methods of paired comparisons and of priority determination, computer, superstructure of EXCEL 8.0.Theoretical and practical results. There has been specified definition of economic category of remuneration of labor taking into account sources of its formation and economic purpose. Methods of determination of size of wage-funds at railway enterprises. Methodical basis for detemination of quantitative dependence of remuneration of labor on quality of fulfilled work. Applied aspects of research of conditions of strengthening motivational role of social-psychological climate in a collective with stimulation of its effective functioning. Novelty of research. 1). There has been developed methodological and methodical basis for perfection of remuneration of labor in subdivisions of railway enterprises with use of coefficient of differentiation and priority of labor process computed on the basis of expert paired alternative evaluations of all employees of a collective in factors, which significantly affect general result; 2). There have been grounded organizational-economic conditions of improvement of social-psychological climate in a labor collective as a motivational factor of its effective functioning on the basis of the system of measurement of integral indicator of the level of correlation in a labor collective as well as actions aimed at its improvement. Degree of implantation. The research results were introduced in the work of: Chief Commercial Department of State Administration of Railway of Ukraine "UKRZALIZNYTSYA", Service of Organization of Labor, Wages and Managerial Structures of the South Railway, Signaling and Communication Services of the South Railway.The research results were introduced in the curriculum: of the Institute of Retraining of staff at Ukrainian State Railway Academy, of the Department of Economics and Branch Management of the Ukrainian State Railway Academy.Branch of employment. railway enterprises, transport enterprise of Ukraine, industrial enterprises.
