Barannik H. A semantic-syntactic category of partitive in the Ukrainian language.

The dissertation research is devoted to the problem of the category level. In particular it has been proved that this category exists in the Ukrainian language; its functional and structural parameters have been determined; the notion related to the phenomenon of partitive have been characterized; the main typological forms of speech realization of partitive in the Ukrainian language have been distinguished; the most wide-spread patterns and models of partitive constructions within the frames of the distinguished typological forms have been described; manifestation forms of the functional and structural system of partitive as a particular speech universal have been investigated; the productivity of the partitive constructions’ use in different functional styles of the Ukrainian language has been analysed. Partitive as a semantic-syntactic category is distinguished and investigated for the first time. Sphere of use is training courses.
