Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to development of effective aproach for plastom transformation. Genetic transformation of earlier obtained cybrid plants with N. tabacum nucleus and S. carniolica, Ph. officinalis and S. sinuata plastoms was done. Than S. sinuata transformed plastids were transferred from cybrid plants into S. sinuata wild type plants. Transplastomic tobacco plants were obtained and transgenic tobacco plastids were transferrd into L. barbarum plants.
