Kuz'menko I. The pathogenesis of the kidneys function failure in -irradiated rats of the different ages.

In the thesis was investigated the functional state failure as well as kidneys morphological investigation in different aged rats in conditions of the total gama-radiation in the single dose of 5,82 Gr. All the experimental trials with the irradiated rats were performed in conditions of both water- and salt-induced diuresis. The general kidneys processes, i.e. filtration, reabsorbtion and kidneys function changes - osmoregulative, excretoric as well as endogenous nitrites content changes have bun investigated. It was established the appearance of the nephron functions disturbance of the aged and young rats during the first 3 hrs after gama-radiation that lasted throughout 7 days. It is fact, that glomerular filtration rate and indexes of nitrites excretion have the positive dynamic in the same groups of rats and ih the same period of time. Kidneys morphological changes were evident in the form of proximal tubules granular destruction and nephron wax-like necrosis. The aged rats revealed the most expressed changes that were investigated.
