Olena O. Constitutional right of citizens of Ukraine to participate in the administration of state affairs.

In the dissertation the constitutional bases of the right of citizens of Ukraine to participate in the administration of state affairs is investigated, historical preconditions of its constitutional regulation are defined; the concept of participation of citizens of Ukraine in the administration of state affairs is formulated; features of constitutional regulation of this right of citizens of Ukraine, international legal standards of political rights of citizens and experience of their implementation in constitutions of foreign countries are analyzed. The concept and structure of a mechanism of realization of the right of citizens of Ukraine to participate in the administration of state affairs and factors which influence its realization in modern conditions are defined; forms of realization of this right of citizens are investigated, the special attention is given to elections and referendums; the system of constitutional guarantees of this subjective right is determined; offers concerning the furtherperfection of the mechanism of its realization are formulated.
