Essay

The dissertation deals with the problems of the efficacy of treating the patients with duodenal peptic ulcer by studying the state of non-specific reactivity of the organism with the view of developing the pathogenic therapy and prevention of revealed disorders. The study points out that the state of the hormonal and vegetative systems, physicochemical properties of blood, an increase in endogen intoxication, the upset of the equilibrium between the processes of peroxide oxidation of lipids and antioxidant systems plays an essential role. On the basis of the obtained findings a new method of magnetotherapy utilizing the BTL-09 apparatus has been developed and put in practice. It has been established that the use of magnetic field in complex treatment of patients with duodenal peptic ulcer contributes to acceleration of clinical recovery, a decrease in endogenic intoxication, reduction of lipid peroxide oxidation intensity and the activity of the ] antioxidant system of protection, speeds-up reparativeprocesses of the gastric mucous membrane and the duodenum.
