Boron O. The poetics of space in the creation of Taras Shevchenko.

The thesis is dedicated to the study of spatial cosmos of Shevchenko poetry, means of its creation, and the influence they exert on readers' perception. The research results in the elaboration of the integral theory of space as a philosophical concept in Shevchenko poetry. There were found and analyzed corresponding spatial structures and figure-symbols which functional role was observed in a separate work. The typology of space is defined to include the four following types of space: real, historic, imaginary, absolute. Every type has a corresponding set of characteristics and poetic content. The space of Shevchenko is characterizes as highly meaningful, multi-leveled, nonhomogeneous, of high semeiotic degree and artistic perfection.
