Object of the study: FPC of the pregnant engaged in phosphorite processing industry, pregnant with normal ges-tation course. Purpose of the study: To optimize the system of early diagnosis and treatment of FPI in pregnant engaged in proc-essing phosphorites containing heavy-metal elements, which can allow to decrease obstetric and perinatal complications. Methods of the study: Clinical, immunoenzyme, ultrasound fetoplacentography, cardiotocography, atom-absorption, immunomorphological, and hygienic, statistical methods. Practical significance: The research allowed to improve the system of examination and management of the pregnant engaged in phosphorite processing industry, aimed at prognosis and early detection of FPI. A complex of preventive and therapeutic measures in pregnant with FPI engaged in phosphorite processing industry. Introduction of the finding of the research in the work of gynecology out-patient department of "Sumykhimprom" hospital, Sumy Central District Hospital, Sumy Regional Center of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Sumy City Clinical Hospital No. 1, Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital allowed to reduce the number of obstetric and perinatal complications in women engaged in phosphorite processing industry. Novelty of the obtained results: For the first time, antenatal risk factors of FPI development (heavy metals, i.e. cobalt, cadmium, lead) in women engaged in phosphorite processing industry were established. Hormone-producing function of the FPC at exposure to harmful industrial factors was studied, the peculiarities of heart -activity of the intrauterine fetus were studied. Morphological, including immunohistochemical, peculiarities of the afterbirth in women engages in phosphorite processing industry were investigated. Combinations of immunopathological and sclerotic processes against a background of disorders of chorion villi maturation and increased endothelin-producing activity of the placenta vessels were revealed. Introduction: The findings of the research are used in the teachingprocess of department of obstetrics and gynecology of Sumy State University and Kharkiv State Medical University. Sphere of application: medicine, obstetrics and gynecology.
