The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and methodological research of the process of Modelling and working out of practical recommendations on usage the professional activity situations in course of teaching. The main items of the process of Modelling and the imitable modelling were determined and investigated.The thesis deals with the problems of educational situations modelling of professional activity of the military man during training of English. Usage of system of models of the situations (general model) reflecting professional work of the expert is established that, is one of effective methods of training of English in a higher educational institution. The originality of this research is that the author defines a place of role-play as a form of application of the general model system of situations, develops pedagogical conditions of their application and gives the characteristics of different kinds of situations..
