Theoretical aspects of the geoecological division into districts and methodical approaches of its realization are given. The indices of the geoecological estimation of the territory, the algorithm of the division into districts and criteria of the operational units determination are proposed. Nature potential, stability potential, technogenic load and geoecological potential of the regional landscape structures of Ukraine are estimated and analyzed. The main geoecological problems in geoecological regions and districts of Ukraine are determined and analyzed, the first measures for the rational use of the territory in the regions of Ukraine are proposed
