Essay

The thesis is devoted to modeling, new construction development, experimental research of transverse-planar integral transistor microwave oscillators that were used for design of waveguide and quasi-optical oscillators. Numerical simulation and experimental research of transverse discontinuity in waveguide were carried out. The discontinuity was represented as dielectric slab with complex form slot in plating layer. Novel transverse-planar integral transistor microwave oscillators with complex form slot antenna in feedback circuit were developed based on researched structure. Designs of waveguide and quasi-optical oscillators based on transverse-planar oscillators were proposed and researched. Spatial power combining systems in waveguide were implemented and researched. Equivalent circuits all proposed oscillators were developed. Quasi-optical oscillators were used for implementation of active system for measurements of dielectric materials physical characteristics.
