Essay

Defended is the dissertation, based on whose materials 7 scientific articles were published about certain peculiar features of excretory-toxic infertility in males with chronic bacterial prostatitis, trichomoniasis, chlamidiosis and brucellosis. A correla-tion was shown between the pathological sperm cells and the neurohumoral and im-mune impairments, the hepatic and renal complex. Peculiarities were determined of the excretory-toxic infertility pathogenesis depending upon etiology, which were manifested in different degrees of the organs and systems involvement in the patho-logical process. It was demonstrated that changes in a spermogram in form of vari-ously pronounced oligoasthenoteratozoospermia were not dependent upon etiology of chronic prostatitis. It was shown that chronic prostatitis of the bacterial, trychomonal, chlamydial and brucellar etiology led to a reduced fertilizing capability of ejaculate as a result of combined impairment of the reproductive function components: hepato-biliar system, endocrine status and immunological functions of the body. The three-staged examination and treatment were developed for patients with excretory-toxic infertility. The first stage includes diagnosis and reduction of the in-flammatory process with sanation of the genital organs. The second stage deals with diagnosis and correction of all the reproductive function components. The third stage consists in stimulation of spermatogenesis.
