Essay

Thesis deals with Ukrainian iconostasis of XVIII - XIX century as certain element of the church's interior, monumental and decorative arts. It was carried out methodic of the complex graphic analyze of iconostasis in structure of the castern Christian Church and estimated main typical groups of iconostasas. Evolution of XVIII - XIX century iconostasis' structure in composition and planing scheme of the church was observed. Estimated main principles and methods of iconostasis' restoration in interiors of the church, including working one that can be practically used.
