Essay

The dissertation deals with the methodology of teaching reading professionally oriented texts while using specialized computer materials. Main principles of teaching reading in non-humanitarian higher educational establishments, principles of choosing exercises for computer aided teaching reading were analysed. The complex of exercises for word processor and specialized computer program "English for Economists (reading aspect)" were created. Methods of their application were proposed.
