Popova N. Structural-semantic peculiarities of the newest lexical borrowings from English in the Ukrainian language (90th of the XX century - the beginning of the XXI century).

An object is lexico-semantic processes in the Ukrainian language caused by the intensification of the foreign borrowings. The purpose is to find out and analyze the composition and structural-semantic peculiarities of the newest lexical borrowings from English in Ukrainian during the 90-th of the ХХ-th century and the beginning of the ХХІ-st century. Methods are a descriptive-analytical, statistical and comparative ones, with their ways of investiqation, also typoloqi cal and component analyses are used. Theoretical value is that the complex analysis of the newest Anglicism's in Ukrainian is carried out оn the base the borrowing theory. Theoretical idea is proved by the statements about the difference of English borrowing from other not related languages during the development of Ukrainian. The practical value of the gained results is in that they can be used in the process of teaching the course of lexicology of modern literary Ukrainian language and during conducting the special courses and specialseminars on the themes of borrowing and neology, and also compiling the dictionaries of foreign words and explanatory dictionaries of Ukrainian language. Sphere of knowledge is philology.
