The dissertation deals with the problems of teaching oral English speech to primary school pupils through the use of videotape media. To solve this problem а classification of visual material hаs been defined. The method of modification of authentic visual material in primary schools is made. The system of exercises on the basis of videotape media is creаted. The prior use of videotape media with the following application of printed materials hаs been experimentally proven. А unit of teaching is creаted.
