Object: physiologically-biochemical processes, which take place in water-melon plants and separate processes in typical chernozem, depending on methods of organic and mineral fertilizers application and growth stimulants use. Aim: to work out energy-saving elements of the technology of water-melon growing for food and seed aims, local method of mineral and organic fertilizers application under water-melons, to define efficiency of growth stimulants use. Methods: field, laboratory ones. Novelty: regularities of fertilizers action are revealed. There is substantiated expediency of local application of organic and mineral fertilizers, revealed positive influence of new growth stimulants Rostok 2ME and Rostok ME on the yield of fruits and seeds. Optimal scheme is determined for water-melon plants placing as for food so for seed aims. There is revealed the positive influence of water-melon after-ripening on sowing qualities of seed. Results: possibility of mineral fertilizer consumption decrease at 30 % during their local application in comparison with broadcast application is proved. There is proved the advantage of organic fertilizer bioclot and humus ap-plication in quantity 100 g under a plant against 40 t/ha of humus broadcast application. High efficiency of growth stimulants Rostok 2ME and Rostok ME use with the norm of application 3 l/ha is revealed. There is determined the positive influence of water-melon after-ripening on seed productivity of plants. Introduction extent: it is introduced in agricultural enterprises of different forms of property. Field of use: vegetable growing, seed growing.
