Analysis of existing methods as for planning of the profit from the main operating activity and methodological recommendations concerning planning of the profit in conditions of market economy and planning of volume of realization for achieving purposive profit were worked out. Researches conducted in the dissertation give the opportunity to affirm the main role of such an index as "break-even coefficient" in the system CPV. The work suggests conducting analysis of break-even.
