Nikulina N. The establishment of contemporary Ukrainian terminological system of motor-car construction and repairs of transport vehicles.

The thesis is dedicated to the study of the history of establishment and the peculiarities of development of national motor-car terminological system aswell as to the description of its formation processes at the contemporary stage. The terminological field of motor-car terminological lexis as well as the means of its verbalization in the Ukranian language are defined, the predominating tendencies of terminology formation are characterized, the productive word-building models of motor-car terms are established, the peculiarities of nomination of scientific notions in the framework of motor-car construction and repairs of transport vehicles domains are outlined, the state of motor-car terminology on the plane of lexical paradigmatics (synonymy, antonymy, polysemy) is investigated at the contemporary stage of terminological system development.
