Pohribna O. Lexical and grammatical semantics of nouns in the Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language (lexemes defining instruments of labor and buildings)

Purpose: complex analyses and lexicographic modeling of lexical and grammatical semantics of nouns in the modern Ukrainian language, in particular of lexical and semantic groups denoting instruments of labor and buildings. Object: lexical and grammatical class of noun systems in the modern Ukrainian language, in particular lexical and semantic groups denoting instruments of labor and buildings. Methods of research: inductive, deductive, methods of computational experiment, component, taxonomic and contextological analyses, information theory of lexicographic systems. Scientific novelty: pioneer analyses of the lexicographic models of lexical and grammatical semantics of nouns based on the whole volume of the Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language; establishment of the qualitative and quantitative correlation of parameters of the lexical and grammatical semantics of nouns; introduction of a new classification of Ukrainian nouns based on formal attributes of their grammatical semantics; development of formulas of the component structure of interpretation of nouns denoting instruments of labor and buildings.
