Subject - processes of formation of antenna radiation pattern (RP) parameter estimates with far-zone methods in the presence of sounding signal re-reflections by the ground and local objects; Goal: the development of the method and algorithms of obtaining and processing the measured information, which allows forming unbiased and well-grounded estimates of antenna RP parameters when measuring them with far-zone methods in the presence of sounding signal re-reflections by the ground and local objects; Methods – the statistical antenna theory and foundations of mathematical statistics at assessment of admissible errors in finding the amplitude-phase distribution in an array of measuring probes (AMP); the statistical theory of antenna measurements at assessment of errors in measurements of antenna RP parameters; modern methods of the spectral analysis at the development of algorithms of the echo situation at the antenna testing area; Results – the AMP calibration accuracy dependence of the accuracy andthe confidence probability of a direct sounding signal (SS) to be singled out from a mixture of signals exciting the AMP and containing, beside of SS, noise and echo-signals, is obtained for the first time; it is the first time that the requirements to the AMP calibration accuracy are evaluated, what enables one to assess the echo situation at the antenna measurement testing area with the given accuracy and confidence probability including estimates of “the direct SS power – to – the remains of unsuppressed ES and noise – ratio”; a new method of AMP calibration which takes into account the cross connection of radiators is proposed, which differs by that for restoration of a matrix of radiators cross connection coefficients there is no need to define directions of signal arrival and the number of signals forming the received mixture; a new method of diagnostics of elements controlling the amplitude-phase distribution in the AMP is proposed, which is realized at an AMP site in the presence of the unknown number of ESs
