Essay

The dissertation investigates the development of distance learning, its social and philosophical foundations, as well as the specificity of bank specialists’ training. Based on using the international computer program Blackboard, the study proposes the professional model of distance learning in the conditions of traditional education of prospective bank specialists at higher educational establishments of economic profile. The methodological, theoretical and methodical aspects of the problem are defined. The main emphasis is made on substantiating the organizational and pedagogical bases of distance learning and defining the specific professional skills of prospective bank specialists important for their effective training.
