Essay

Thesis is aimed to solve an actual scientific problem of safe sea transportation of food, especially white sugar by means of the theory of thermostatic processes of hydroscopic stuffs that was adapted by V. Zagoruyko to the microclimate of cargo rooms. Due to system approach to the solution of the problem the main and auxiliary problems of the research were formulated. It has allowed to narrow down the area of study up to finding out the dominant factor of freight - its humidity, that influences its quality and to estimate quantitative regularity of thermal-humidity process of interaction between white sugar and moist air. Simulator and algorithm of optimal transport conditions of white sugar to port Akaba were elaborated that are universal for any transporting directions. Approbation and then practical use of the results of the research make it possible to guarantee the quality of freight in case of keeping the demands of technological card and recommendations to the captains of universal cargo vessels.
