Essay

The goal of the research was to justify pectin prophylaxis under mercury exposure in low doses taking into account age peculiarities, elaborating methodology for carrying out biological prophylaxis under mercury exposure. Methods: analytical, quantum-chemical, toxicological, biochemical, morphological, statistical. Theoretical value: studying the comparative cytoprotective action of pectin and to elucidate the mechanism of mercury binding to carboxyl groups of galacturonic acids. The results can be used by specialists in hygiene and occupational health, dealing with preventive treatments of low doses heavy metals exposure. The results became a part of 2 methodical recommendations and 2 information letters.
