Vashchenko O. Valent and non-valent combinability of deadjective nouns in the modern Ukrainian language

The object is valent characteristics of nouns and their structural-semantic sorts and peculiarities of their valent and non-valent combinability. The subject is deadjective nouns. The purpose is to provide system analysis of valent peculiarities of deadjective nouns, according to valent characteristics denote valent and non-valent combinability of deadjectives. Novelty - for the first time valent characteristics of deadjective nouns have been covered taking into consideration their structural and lexical-semantic features, peculiarities of their valent and non-valent combinabilities, syntactic ties and semantic-syntactical relations between deadjectives and their spreaders in comparison with primitive nouns have been discovered. The theoretical and practical results may be used for giving lectures, writing textbooks, educational supplies and methodical working outs on syntax of Ukrainian language.
