Research object: The processes of influence of the carriageway design elements on the oscillating system of vehicle with the analysis of vehicle riding softness and initial unevenness are considered. Research purpose. A research purpose consists of development of evenness improvement methods of carriageway surface and vehicle riding softness in the repair and reconstruction projects of the automobile roads on the basis of analysis of processes of influence of design road pavement surface elements on the oscillating system of a vehicle. Research methods: The processes of influence of design road pavement surface elements on the vehicle riding softness and initial unevenness are explored by the method of mathematical modeling of vibrations of the vehicle's sprung mass. Results of measuring of the road pavement unevenness by bumpometer TED 2М are used. In the road projects an unevenness was estimated both by the modeling of bumpometer work, and with the IRI. The digital models of road pavement surface wasconstructed by the computer designing system CREDO with using the results of geodesic measuring by electronic tachymeter. In the road projects, the authenticity and exactness of digital models of carriageway surface, real and modeled passages are appraised by the methods of mathematical statistics. Apparatus: bumpometer TED 2М, electronic tachymeter, computer system CREDO, computer program Road Ruf. Theoretical and practical results: The mathematical model of influence of the carriageway project surface elements on the oscillating system of a vehicle, in which descriptions of influence are determined by the parameters of elements of longitudinal profile conjugations, is developed. Dependences of indices of riding softness and initial unevenness on the parameters of interfaces type are set. On the basis of this dependences, the limiting values of initial unevenness for different road categories and materials of pavement, limiting values of algebraic difference of slopes and parameters of curvature in the conjugations type, requirements to the elements of project conjugations type on the indices of riding softness and initial unevenness are substantiated. The designing method of roadway volumetric levelling, with a control of the initial unevenness level in the projects on repair and reconstruction of the automobile roads with tolerable indices of traffic softness, has been developed. Degree of introduction: research results are used by the project institute "UKRGIPRODOR" when developing the projects on repair of automobile roads; the algorithm of computer modeling of influence of the carriageway project surface elements on the riding softness and initial unevenness is included in the discipline software "Automated design of the roads" of the highways researches and planning chair and discipline for magistrates "Computer modeling" of the road construction and maintenance chair of the Kharkov National Automobile and Highway University. Region of the use: planning and reconstruction of highways.
