Khomik O. Ukrainian verbal charm: semantics and structure

Object -- functional and special units of Ukrainian vocabulary and phraseology as well as folk culture texts playing charm function. Aim: define peculiarities of verbal charms origin, their semantic and structural types as well as patterns of connection with mythological world model of Ukrainian people. Methods:theoretical and empiric, deterministic and scholastic, systematization and explanation, linguistic description, component analysis, some etymological elements, comparative as well as textual study methods. Theoretical and practical results can be used in special works dedicated to secondary nomination problems, problems of ethno-linguistics and semasiology. Results of research can be used in course of studies, during scientific seminars as well as in various dictionary compiling.
